7-Days In Tanzania Including Serengeti National Park

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your driver in the arrivals hall and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. The drive takes approximately one hour.

After check-in (available from 12:30 PM), the rest of the day is at your leisure. You can relax and enjoy the hotel facilities or, if you prefer, explore the city with your guide at no additional cost.

Wake up to breathtaking views of Mount Meru before enjoying breakfast. At 8:00 AM, depart for Tarangire National Park, a scenic two-hour drive through the beautiful Tanzanian landscape.

Upon arrival, begin your game drive, searching for the park’s abundant wildlife. In the afternoon, enjoy a picnic lunch within the park before continuing your game drive until late afternoon. You will then transfer to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park is renowned for its large elephant herds and varied landscapes, ranging from seasonal swamps to open savannahs, all nourished by the Tarangire River, the park’s only water source during the dry season. Keep an eye out for lions stalking their prey or leopards resting gracefully in the trees, adding excitement to every moment of your safari.

After breakfast at 7:00 AM, depart for Serengeti National Park. The transfer, which includes a game drive en route, may take up to three hours. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at a suitable spot within the park, then continue your afternoon game drive before reaching your camp for dinner and overnight stay.

The Serengeti is renowned for its spectacular migrating herds of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope, which move according to the seasonal rains. You may also encounter resident predators, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs, showcasing the dynamic circle of life in this iconic ecosystem.

After breakfast, embark on a full-day wildlife game drive in Serengeti National Park, carrying packed lunch boxes. Enjoy lunch at a suitable spot within the park before continuing your afternoon exploration. At the end of the day, transfer to Tanzania Bush Camps – Central Serengeti for dinner, relaxation, and an overnight stay.

The Serengeti is world-famous for its great migrating herds of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope, whose movements are guided by the seasonal rains. Keep an eye out for resident predators, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as they play their vital role in the circle of life, making every moment in the park thrilling and unforgettable.

After breakfast, your tour guide will pick you up from Tanzania Bush Camps – Central Serengeti and transfer you to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater, carrying packed lunch boxes.

The crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world’s largest uninterrupted caldera, considered one of Africa’s natural wonders. Home to over 30,000 large mammals throughout the year—including buffalo, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos—the crater also hosts a rich variety of birdlife, such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. Wildlife encounters are frequent, allowing you to see many animals in a short period.

After your game drive, transfer to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park for a wildlife game drive, carrying packed lunch boxes. After completing your game drive, transfer to Arusha for dinner, relaxation, and an overnight stay.

Lake Manyara National Park is renowned for its tree-climbing lions, which often rest in the branches, and the numerous baboon colonies that inhabit the forest, frequently accompanying visitors along the park roads. The park is also home to elephants, gazelles, zebras, hippos, buffaloes, and a wide variety of bird species, including flamingos that flock around the soda lake, making it a remarkable and diverse safari destination.

After breakfast, enjoy some time to relax at your lodge. When ready, your driver will transfer you to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight, whether heading home or to your next destination.

If time permits, you may take a short tour of Arusha city to explore local sights and shop for souvenirs before your departure, adding a memorable final touch to your Tanzanian adventure.
