3-Days Tour – Zanzibar to Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Manyara

Your adventure begins early in the morning with a 6:00 AM hotel pick-up in Zanzibar (exact time depends on your hotel’s location). You’ll be transferred to the airport for your 8:00 AM flight to Arusha, arriving at approximately 9:15 AM.

Upon arrival, your professional driver-guide will welcome you and drive you to Tarangire National Park—a scenic journey of about 1.5 hours. Along the way, you’ll learn fascinating insights about Arusha’s history and the traditions of the Maasai people.

Tarangire is renowned for its incredible biodiversity and large herds of elephants. The park’s varied landscapes—seasonal swamps, golden savannahs, and the winding Tarangire River—create the perfect setting for remarkable wildlife encounters. Keep your eyes open for lions stalking their prey or leopards resting in the treetops.

After enjoying a hearty breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for both its natural beauty and cultural significance.

Descending into the vast Ngorongoro Crater is an unforgettable experience. The crater floor is home to a remarkable concentration of wildlife, offering you an excellent chance to spot the Big Five—lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and the rare black rhino. You may also encounter flocks of flamingos shimmering along the crater lakes, as well as countless other bird species and grazing animals spread across this unique ecosystem.

Every moment in the crater feels alive, with wildlife encounters often happening within minutes of one another.

Rise early and enjoy a 7:00 AM breakfast before setting out for your final safari experience. Today, you’ll visit Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic reserve nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment.

Famed for its diverse habitats, the park offers the chance to spot the legendary tree-climbing lions, large elephant herds, graceful giraffes, and an impressive variety of bird species thriving around the alkaline Lake Manyara. Your game drive will take you through lush forests, acacia woodlands, and open savannahs, each offering new and captivating encounters.

In the afternoon, you’ll return to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journey. Drop-off is scheduled for around 3:00 PM, depending on your departure time.
