The Serengeti fits well into most people’s dream of an African safari, with its abundant wildlife, vast golden plains, iconic acacia trees and kopjes. Nyota Luxury Tented Camp is nestled in the heart of the Serengeti and we are blessed to have the Orangi river meandering along our camp’s borders.  Nyota (rhyme it with water) means ‘stars’ in Swahili.  Whilst on safari, we spend a lot of time searching the bush, the horizon, the trees and the geological landforms but we often forget to look above, where an ethereal world silently sparkles.
