Day 1

ARRIVAL DAY

Arrive at Zanzibar Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport, where a safari representative will warmly welcome you. Transfer to your hotel or lodge in either Arusha or Zanzibar, depending on your arrival point. Settle in and relax after your journey. In the evening, enjoy dinner and a detailed safari briefing to prepare for the adventure ahead. This first night offers a calm introduction before your thrilling wildlife experiences begin the next day. Sleep comfortably knowing you’re about to enter one of Africa’s most legendary safari circuits.

FLY FORM ARUSHA TO KOGATENDE

After an early breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Kogatende in the Northern Serengeti. Upon landing, your safari guide will greet you and begin game driving immediately toward the Mara River. The Northern Serengeti is the epicenter of the Great Migration between July and October. Spend the afternoon watching for wildebeest herds gathering at the riverbanks and possibly witness a dramatic river crossing. Return to camp as the sun sets over the savannah and enjoy dinner beneath the stars

FULL DAY AT NORTH SERENGETI

Spend a full day exploring the Mara River region in search of migration activity. Your guide will monitor herd movements and position you near potential river crossing points. Watch as wildebeest and zebras gather, stalked by predators or faced with treacherous crocodile-filled waters. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush to maximize your time in the field. Between migration sightings, track lions, elephants, and cheetahs across the open plains. Return to camp in the evening and relax around the campfire, sharing stories of the day’s remarkable wildlife encounters.

NORTH SERENGETI TO CENTRAL SERENGETI

After breakfast, depart your northern camp and enjoy a slow-paced game drive through the Serengeti as you make your way south to Central Serengeti. This transition takes you through varied landscapes and offers incredible wildlife viewing along the way. The Central Serengeti is renowned for its resident predators, including lions and leopards, as well as giraffes, elephants, and large herds of antelope. Arrive at your tented camp in the late afternoon, just in time for a relaxing dinner and a night under the star-filled Serengeti sky.
