Day 1
TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Begin your adventure with pickup from Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport, then drive to Tarangire National Park—a haven for elephants, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a scenic game drive along the Tarangire River, keeping an eye out for zebras, lions, giraffes, and more. After the safari, continue to the highlands of Karatu, just outside the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Settle into a cozy mid-luxury lodge offering garden views and local charm. Enjoy a hearty dinner and rest before your journey to Serengeti begins.

Day 2
SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and into the endless plains of the Serengeti. Along the way, pass Maasai villages and enjoy breathtaking vistas of the crater and savanna. Enter Serengeti via Naabi Hill Gate and begin your game drive en route to your mid-luxury tented camp, located in central Serengeti. Spot elephants, lions, wildebeest, and cheetahs. Arrive at camp for sundowners and a three-course dinner in the wild. Fall asleep to the sounds of the Serengeti under canvas.

Day 3
FULL DAY SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti, one of Africa’s greatest wildlife reserves. Begin early to catch predators on the move. Your guide will tailor the route to increase your chances of spotting the Big Five or the Great Migration (seasonal). Visit hippo pools, acacia woodlands, and open plains teeming with antelope and cats. Enjoy a bush picnic or return to camp for lunch and a short rest. Wrap up the day with sunset views and a relaxing evening around the campfire.

Day 4
SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO CRATER
After an early breakfast, depart Serengeti with a final game drive on your way out. Travel to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s most impressive natural wonders. Descend into the caldera for a half-day game drive, where you might encounter lions, elephants, hyenas, flamingos, and the endangered black rhino. After a picnic lunch near a hippo pool, ascend and drive back to Karatu. Arrive at your comfortable mid-luxury lodge surrounded by highland scenery. Unwind with a warm meal and peaceful evening.

KARATU TO ARUSHA
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before leaving Karatu for your return journey to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport, depending on your flight schedule. Along the way, you may opt to visit a local market or a Maasai village (time permitting). Reflect on your journey through some of Africa’s most stunning landscapes and wildlife-rich parks. Your guide will ensure a timely drop-off for your flight. With unforgettable sightings and incredible memories, your 5-day Tanzania safari adventure comes to a close. End of Safari.
